Dr Heather Whitson

Heather is a graduate of the University of New South Wales. She has completed two post-graduate diplomas – one in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and one in Palliative Medicine – in addition to completing a certificate course in Sexual & Reproductive Health from Family Planning Australia. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Heather has worked in many rural and remote areas of Australia in general practice, Aboriginal health and palliative care. She has worked in the United Kingdom in the areas of psychiatry and emergency medicine. She enjoys all areas of general practice but has special interest in women’s health, travel medicine and palliative care. In addition to working at Montrose, Heather teaches in the School of Medicine at the University of Notre Dame.

Dr. Therese Pham

Therese obtained her medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 2005. She completed her internship and residency at the Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital from 2006-2008.During this time, Therese developed clinical skills in various medical and surgical sub-specialties, emergency medicine, paediatrics and geriatrics. Therese completed a course in Sexual Health and Reproductive Medicine with Family Planning Association NSW in 2009.Therese became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010. She has special interest in Women's Health and Paediatrics.

Dr. Kylie Vuong

Kylie completed her medical degrees at The University of New South Wales and did her post graduate training at Westmead Hospital. She loves the outback and has previously worked for The Royal Flying Doctor Service in Broken Hill. In addition to her medical degrees, Kylie holds a Masters in International Public Health from The University of Sydney and is currently undertaking a PhD at The University of Sydney. Kylie enjoys paediatrics and is passionate about preventive care. Her favourite pastimes include morning runs, listening to podcasts, travelling the world and collecting novels.

Dr. Hunter Tuon

General Practitioner
Hunter graduated from the University of Sydney in Medicine in 1999. He worked and trained in Canberra.Hospital prior to 2002 in areas of general practice and general surgery as well as pediatrics. He undertook general practice training from 2003 and became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2005. His interests include preventive health, Implanon insertion and travel medicine.

Dr. Andrew Chen

Andrew completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales. He worked at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for 3 years in areas including medical specialties, surgical specialties, obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency and paediatrics before starting general practice in 2006. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He enjoys all aspect of general practice, but has special interest in dermatology and skin cancer medicine. He has passed the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand dermoscopy exam with distinction.

Amanda has over ten years experience working as a Clinical Psychologist in both public and private practices, and is skilled at working with individuals, couples, children and families in a wide variety of areas which include: anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, sexual difficulties, self-esteem, stress management, bullying, trauma, eating disorders, attachment and childhood disorders, including emotional and behavioural disorders.

Edward Pickersgill

Podiatrist
Edward gained an Honours degree in Science in the UK before completing a degree in Podiatry at the University of Western Sydney from 2000–2004. With a strong foundation in general podiatry, he has a depth of experience in private practice in Sydney and the Central Coast. Edward is committed to continuing education and gained advanced skills in musculoskeletal training and acupuncture for podiatry, which allows him to offer further avenues for pain relief. He brings his warm personality and podiatric professionalism to Montrose.

Dr Daniel Edwards

After graduating with a Masters of Chiropractic from Sydney’s Macquarie University, Daniel practised in several clinics in Sydney’s Northern beaches and Inner West, and Wellington, New Zealand, and has been based in Glebe since 2007. Daniel enjoys caring for people of all ages from all walks of life, from children to grandparents; athletes to business people. Daniel is passionate about sharing the benefits of chiropractic, including a healthy spine and nervous system, helping to empower educated health choices and create a healthier community. He is a member of the Chiropractors Association of Australia, the International Chiropractors Association and the Australian Spinal Research Foundation, and is one a handful of Australian chiropractors to complete the Chiropractic Wellness Certification (C.C.W.P), awarded by the International Chiropractors Association Council on Wellness Science. Leah Harvey

Leah is a Registered Nurse with over 10 years experience. Leah graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing in 1998. After graduation, she worked at the Westmead Hospital in different rotations, but specialised in Intensive Care Nursing. She completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing in 2002. Leah then worked as a Practice Nurse in London. She obtained clinical experience in Cardiology, Travel Medicine, Childhood Immunisations, Wound Management, Venepuncture, Sexual Health, Women’s Health, and Chronic Disease Management. Leah completed the Family Planning NSW ‘Well Women’s Screening’ Course, and is trained to perform pap smears, breast checks, and give advice on contraception, safe sex and sexuality.Leah has an interest in preventive medicine, with an emphasis on a wholistic approach to health.
