As part of our focus on prevention and wellbeing, we invite you to complete your one-off Medicare-funded 45-49 Year Old Health Assessment at Montrose. This one-off check helps review your current health and identify any risks early.
The assessment is fully covered by Medicare and takes around an hour: 45 minutes with a registered nurse and a brife review with your GP. If you have other health concerns, please book a separate appointment so your doctor can address them properly.
During your assessment, we will:
* Measure your weight, height, and blood pressure
* Discuss lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, smoking, and alcohol use
* Review your family medical history and risk factors for chronic disease
* Assess your medications and mental wellbeing
* Provide tailored advice to promote long-term health

You can book with your usual GP online (select “Health Check”) or call us on (02) 9660 6788. We also encourage you to register with MyMedicare, nominating Montrose as your regular clinic. This helps us provide you with more coordinated and continuous care.
