General Appointments Fees
Yes. To ensure appointment availability for those in need, we kindly request more than 3 hours' notice for cancellations with GPs. Failure to provide such notice will result in a $35 fee for brief and standard consultations, and a $70 fee for long consultations, payable before your next appointment. Cancellations within 48 hours of a psychology/massage therapy/acupuncture appointment, or cancellations on the same day of your physiotherapy/podiatry/dietetic appointment, will also incur a fee.  You will receive a confirmation email once you booked in an apointment, and you may cancel/rechsedule your appointment by simply responding ‘NO’ to our reminder SMS or by calling Reception.

Our GPs may be able to provide you with a repeat script or referral without a consultation. However, they will request to see you in person for a consultation for any new scripts, new referrals or if it has been more than 3 months since they have seen you. This is important in ensuring they are providing you with the best possible medical care. Please allow your regular doctors 24-48 hours or when they are next at work to process your script/referral request. If you have been seen at Montrose, you may now request your repeats online
Usually once you have done your tests, if a result requires a non-urgent follow up, within the next week or two, you may either receive an SMS advising you to make an appointment with the doctor to discuss your test results or you may receive a call from your doctor or nurse.  Please note that results cannot be given over the phone by reception due to privacy reason. All urgent results will be followed up directly with the patient by the doctor.

There are a few different options for how you will receive your results. Your doctor may discuss this with you at the time of your appointment. Generally, you will receive a call from your doctor or nurse if there is need for follow-up. Please note that results cannot be given over the phone by reception.
